「あっという間（ま） / Attoiuma 」
【 名詞（めいし）: Noun】
★” あっという間に” is used as 【 副詞（ふくし）: adverb】
*Meaning: a blink of time,
*Explain: Something occurred too quickly before you finish saying “あっ！(Ah!)” .
e.g.)
◆日本語（にほんご）去年（きょねん）の今日（きょう）は卒業式（そつぎょうしき）でした。一年（いちねん）はあっという間（ま）です。

日本語（にほんご）で、”to wear”の表現（ひょうげん）を覚（おぼ）えるのはなかなか大変（たいへん）なようです。下（した）の絵（え）が役（やく）に立（た）ちますように。

日本人は、よく長い言葉を短くして使います。そのような言葉を「略語（りゃくご）」と言います。
例えば、スマートフォンは「スマホ」、アポイントメントは「アポ」、エンターテインメントは「エンタメ」と言います。このような略語は他にもたくさんあります。
I think Japanese people like to make an abbreviation and use it. For example, “Sumaho” is a short form of “smartphone”, “apo” is “appointment”, “entame” is abbreviation for “entertainment” and etc. There are many many more words like these.
特に、女子高生（これも、女子高校生の略語ですね！）は、略語や新しい言葉を作る天才です。先日テレビで、女子高生がSNSで使う略語を紹介していました。私にも分からない言葉がたくさんありましたよ！皆さんはどうですか。
Especially, high school girls are genius to create new vocabularies and make them shorter. On the other day, some TV show introduced abbreviations which high school girls used on social media these days. Actually I did not know most of them! How about you?

面白いですよね。きっと女子高生はまたすぐに新しい言葉を作ってしまうので、これらを今覚えてもすぐに使われなくなるのではないでしょうか。でも、次にどんな言葉が生まれるのか楽しみです。
It is interesting, is it? I think that high school girls often create new words, therefore these abbreviations should be disappearing soon even though we learn them now. However, I wonder what new words are coming up next.
